Celia Johnson began life with her father, a medical family practitioner, and her mother, a natural health enthusiast, who made her own soymilk from scratch (actual soybeans!) back when no one had even heard of it yet! She learned the importance of both western and eastern thought on medicine and health, which has carried over into her work of healing for the whole person.
When she started her master's program, she observed that many people who go to counseling get stuck. They know that they "should" be able to think, feel, or act differently, but they just can't get there. This concern led her to seek out healing from the right, intuitive side of the brain, where so many trauma related emotions are held, as well as the left, logical side. For her, the results of working from both sides of the brain, and helping people to connect to joy and peace have been incredibly fulfilling!
Celia studied psychology at the University of AZ, received a Bachelors degree from BYU, with an emphasis on Family Science, and is certified as an Emotional Health Facilitator through the Institute of Healing Arts in Lindon, UT. This certification is equivalent to a traditional master's degree in both breadth of content and clinical hours, including observed clinical sessions. Celia has enjoyed working with clients throughout the country for several years. She employs principles from many tools, including emotional release facilitation, CBT, Neuromodulation, visualization, Energy Healing, Emotion Code, Healthy Nutrition, meditation, Kinesiology, Essential Oils, Herbal Remedies and more.
She is passionate about health, families, education, peace, the green of the earth, and sunshine!
"The whole purpose of life is the growth of the soul. There is nothing more fulfilling than seeing the light and joy that come into a person's life as they free themselves from trauma and create a strong core of peace and joy."
